Precision grinding machine manufacturer convince with customised solutions

This year the WEMA Glauchau GmbH will be represented on the GrindTec in Augsburg  as an exhibitor for the first time. The circular grinding machine manufacturer will present a machine function model in the graduation 1:4 of a grinding machine centre SBZ 6-L 1400.

„Because our enterprise has specialised in customised solutions in grinding machine construction and this know-how must be protected in the interest of the customer, sometimes no suitable exhibition piece was available to us for our fair participation in the past“, according to Franziska Rank, press agent of the WEMA Glauchau. „With the help of this model we can clearly explain the advantages of our machine draught of the Glauchauer circular grinding machines and demonstrate the travels of the axes during the grinding process.“

The grinding machine centre SBZ 6 is an universal treatment centre above for grinding internal and external circular grinding of medium-sized and large work pieces to normally 650 mm of external diameter. As a special option work piece dimensions to 820 mm of external diameter are also possible. The grinding machine centre allows a 3-side treatment of feed parts and long work pieces with guidance in lunettes.

Recently in all machines of the 6-th range can be inserted a measuring tracer. These allow as a pre process to measurement by teachen of an authoritative surface the loops to this surface. As a postal process measurement they realise an easier control of the final measure and can automate, besides, measuring stop corrections.
